Frisky Frolic Fall Fun Day 2007

At a spirited meeting of our Marmora Cup Dog Club, the members planned for an upcoming community event called Frisky Frolic Fall Fun Day, to be held November 17th, at 1 p.m., at the Marmora ball park diamond.

We are planning the following events.

1. An agility event - one dog at a time, for fun.

2. Frisbee catch - start practicing

3. Best Dressed Dog, and Best Dressed Master.

4. Kids event, (12 and under). Longest/shortest tail.

Longest/Shortest ears.

Longest/shortest nose.

5. Dancing with Your Dog. Dress up and dance with your

Dog. Bring your own music, or plan to sing!

This is the first event of its kind in Marmora, we know from current TV viewership that dancing has been rediscovered - So we are adding our own flavor.

The only regulation is that no dog should be stressed in any way past their limits, and this is to be judged in true partnership and in the spirit of enjoyment.

We will be holding one further planning meeting November 5th at 7pm in the William Shannon Room in the Library, and anyone interested in attending would be welcome.  For more information contact Linda at 613-472-2381 after 4 p.m. daily.
